Marlene Kurland has more than 35 years of profession experience in  makeup artistry. In her early 20's, after managing and training for major cosmetic lines in upscale department stores, she became owner/operator of her own private label line carried in salons including Caesar's Hotel in Atlantic City, leading health spas such as Jack LaLane Spas in Florida, and in skin care salons in Georgetown and Maryland.   

For 13 years, she owned several  b natural cosmetic salons, specializing in makeup artistry, skin care, cosmetic, facials, waxing, and nail art in major retail malls throughout the Maryland area. Ms. Kurland has degrees in art and psychology, and is a noted esthetician, fine portrait artist, college educator in makeup artistry, and currently conducts seminars for advanced makeup artistry through Marlene Kurland Make-Up Artist Academy.

Marlene constantly stays current in the rapidly changing art & technology fields of makeup artistry.
