Marlene Kurland has more than 35 years of profession experience in  makeup artistry.   She has worked, taught, and studied from New York to Hollywood. She has degrees in Fine Art and Psychology, is a noted esthetician, portrait artist, and college educator in makeup artistry.   In her early 20's, after managing and training for major cosmetic lines in  Bloomingdale's, Jordan Marsh and upscale department stores, she became owner/operator of her own private label line carried in salons including Caesar's Hotel in Atlantic City, leading health spas such as Jack LaLane Spas in Florida, and in skin care salons in Georgetown and Maryland.   

For 13 years, she owned several  b natural cosmetic salons, specializing in makeup artistry, skin care, cosmetic, facials, waxing, and nail art in major retail malls throughout the Maryland area.  Ms. Kurland has been published in several National industry magazines on topics of sales and makeup application techniques.  As President of Marlene Kurland Makeup Artist Agency, she selects the top makeup artists and most talented hair stylists across the country for on-location makeup for television, film, commercial photo shoots, weddings and special events, and currently conducts seminars for advanced makeup artistry through Marlene Kurland Make-Up Artist Academy.
